I have been in the industry for 23 years mainly in finishing carpentry and a few years as a framer.
I grew up in Winnipeg as the son of a home builder and learned most of what I know from my father. Started as a sweeper and garbage clean up guy at a young age (10-12) and moved to helping with framing, roofing and flat concrete work. Also did basement walls and insulating as well as sidewalk block walkways. Our family moved to Calgary in 1997 after I graduated high school and I worked with my dad, uncle and cousin doing finishing carpentry. From there I started to do my own work and have been working in and around Calgary for all sorts of builders.
I enjoy working at Custom Edge because the projects are both rewarding and a challenging to work on. Everyone on the team is great to work with.
In my spare time I enjoy cycling around the city pathways or out of town on rural roads. Also an avid Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan.
