My name is Ryan Walker, and I have a passion for custom millwork and carpentry. I started working as a finishing carpenter during a summer job and have kept at it ever since.

I founded Custom Edge Finishing in 2007. With steady growth over the year’s while staying true to our core values; honesty, integrity and hard work we are now proud to have over 175 years of combined millwork experience on our team.

Custom Edge Finishing has worked with some of Calgary’s most prestigious custom home builders. Including many award-winning developers, using detailed craftsmanship to finish all our projects. We have been leading major home projects for both large and small custom, acreages and in-fill homes. We bring a level of expertise and knowledge of custom millwork that can be seen in our extensive portfolio.

Although we bring many years of hands on experience, building a relationship with our customers is extremely important to me. “It’s really all about the client; they need to trust you to make their idea’s reality”.

The client brings us the opportunity to do what we love to do. It’s through a collaborative process of using our experience and incorporating the client’s ideas. We carefully combine the expectations into a reality, making the home truly distinctive; matching personality and lifestyle. Our goal is to provide all our clients with quality millwork, everyone can be proud of!

When I’m not helping Calgarians develop custom millwork, I can be found at the hockey rink coaching both of my daughter’s or playing myself.  In the summer we enjoy family time at the lake or out camping.
